Only in Sabah!! 3 Famous Traditional Food You Must Try 

Hello my friend, today we want to share with you about Kadazan's traditional food, especially to our Sarawakian and Peninsular Malaysia's friends. When you are travelling in Sabah, we suggest you to try this delightful dish. Sabah has a unique culture and still practice it in our traditional way. Here, we show you some traditonal food in Sabah.                                                                                                                                

Bambangan

 Bambangan is a type of wild mango. Normally Bambangan  is harvested raw to be pickled using salt,  mixed with grated Bambangan seed and a few slice of chilli. Bambangan can be found at night market every Saturday and Sunday.

                    

Pinasakan

Pinasakan is a special traditional dish of Kadazan and another type of traditional preserved food. The ingridient of pinasakan is Ikan basung, salt, seasoning powder and etc. 

 Pinasakan goes well with white rice or ambuya and sambal.




BOSOU

Bosou is a signature dish for Kadazan. There are various types of bosou such as bosou Sada (preserved fish), bosou nangko (preserved jack fruit), mix vegetables bosou (preserved mix vege) and many more. The smell is strong, yet the taste is unique. Bosou is salty and tangy in flavour.
